House Rules

Campfire Pit Policy Fire Size: Campfires must be kept small and manageable at all times. Use only a reasonable amount of firewood to maintain a controlled flame. Containment: All fires must remain inside the designated fire pit. Do not allow flames to extend beyond the boundaries of the pit. Spark Suppression: A wire rack must be placed over the top of the fire pit to suppress sparks and prevent them from flying around. This helps to minimize the risk of accidental fires. Supervision: Never leave the campfire unattended. A responsible adult must be present at all times while the fire is burning. Extinguishing: At the end of the night, the fire must be fully extinguished using water. Pour water over the flames and embers until they are completely out, and the ashes are cool to the touch. Noise Control: Please keep noise to a minimum out of respect for neighbors' privacy and tranquility. Avoid loud conversations, music, or other disruptive activities, especially during late hours. An awesome home base to explore the Keweenau. Sauna is a welcome touch after exploring. Plenty of room to relax. Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils and cooking gear you may need. 30 second walk across the street to the beach and beautiful views of the peninsula.

This was a wonderful place to stay for doing field work in Copper Harbor & Eagle Harbor, with lots of space, bedrooms, & showers. The views of the sunrises & moonrises were fantastic and the squeaky beach was cool. The pool table & sauna were appreciated. For 4 co-workers, this made an excellent workplace too, and I would stay here for vacation too.

The stay here was amazing. You cannot beat that view. The house was perfect for our family vacation with such an amazing atmosphere there. Hosts were so helpful, and informative and made the whole process fluid. I would rate the stay 10/10 and recommend to anyone I know. I would gladly stay there again.

This was a great place for a family of 5 adults and one baby. The location can’t be beat. There are very few sandy beaches on Lake Superior in the Keewenaw, and this spot shines. It also looks to be very kid friendly with bunk beds and game room. We had a problem with the dryer and Jason responded immediately and we were back up and running within 24 hours. This was a result of Jason having staff and contractors on call and available at a moments notice-very proactive. Our only small surprise was that there are 3 bathrooms but only 2 showers. One shower is in the sauna area. The third bathroom has a jacuzzi tub with a hand held shower but no standup shower. Not a deal breaker and certainly personal preference. Overall great experience and if we return to the area we would seriously consider returning.
